Bonus week!
Took this as I was walking around Stockholm on the same day as I went back home after christmas.
Bonus week!
Took this as I was walking around Stockholm on the same day as I went back home after christmas.
Books, books, books. At Stadsbiblioteket, the Stockholm city public library.
One of the many (many, many..) plane wing photos I've taken in my days. This was on the way over to Sweden for christmas.
Frosty morning on the way home from work.
..or something along those lines.
Noticed I still hadn't posted the last few photos in the Fifty-Two Weeks project from 2014(!). So, here we go. I will be posting the last few photos in the next few posts, and all of the photos will be uploaded to the Fifty-Two Weeks page/album.
Went into Waterstones the other day on my way home from work, and I saw this book which was a journal called One Word A Day. Taking inspiration from that I will be doing a journal of one word a day which as a whole sums up my day, and take a photo which represents that word.
The photos will be on my Instagram, but I will also be adding the photos to a gallery on here in One Word A Day.
So, it appears that I never posted the last few weeks worth of photos in my Fifty-Two Weeks project (although I thought I had).. I will make sure to post them in the next few days whilst I have a few nights off work.
Also, there is a new project in the works inspired by a journal I saw in Waterstones the other day. I need to set up a few things on here, Facebook, and IFTTT; and then I will be ready to run with that. At that point I'll post some more information about it as well :)
Playing with shallow depth of field settings with the 22mm lens for my Canon EOS M.
The view from the top floor in the CornerHouse in Nottingham one morning after work.
Remembering New York, and wanting to go back again..
Panorama photo of the poppies at The Tower of London in November. The whole moat around the tower was filled with poppies for Remembrance Day with it being 100 years since the start of the first world war.
The simple pleasure of a beautiful morning.. :) This was the sunrise as I waited for the bus on my way home from work in the morning.
They've put in new street lights in my area, and one morning I came home to notice that the one just two yards from my flat having been changed. And someone had drawn a heart in the freshly poured concrete :)
Autumny fisheyeness.
Was re-reading an old blog post, in a thoughtful mood on morning after 24+ hours awake (as you do when switching sleeping pattern on the night shift).
Enjoying the British autumn weather stood at the bus stop on my way home from work.
Some of the polaroids I developed from my New York photos using the Impossible Project Instant lab and their colour frame edition SX-70 film (summer seconds version, hence the slight misalignment of the colour on the frame).
From the top, left to right: Statue of Liberty, The Kiss graffiti (seen from the High Line), Brooklyn Bridge, and Rudimental gig at Terminal 5.
Playing around with the fisheye lens on the Olloclip, and my house keys and key rings.
Beautiful autumn evening sky on the way home from work.
This was my view from my seat at the gate as I was waiting for my flight back home from New York. I didn't really want to go home..
